I will have a discussion with Dr. Stella Nyanzi as a part of International symposium held at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
We both have each worked on homophobia, and who may have been in the same place during the Pride parade 2015 in Uganda. We are now in Japn, and will discuss the issue of ‘LGBTIA+’ together.

今週末に東京外国語大学で開催される国際シンポジウム「現代アフリカにおけるセクシュアリティ：伝統、教育、そして実践」に関連して、1月31日にStella Nyanziさん（ウガンダ出身・ドイツ在住の医療人類学研究者、詩人、人権活動家、政治家）と共にLGBTIA+をテーマにお話しさせていただきます。
ステラさんとは偶然にも、僕がケニアに住んでゲイの人たちの撮影をしていた2015年当時にウガンダで開催されたプライドパレードで同じ場所に居合わせたりしており、トークではそのあたりの話なんかも出てくることになるのかなと思います。

I will have a solo exhibition from June to July 2021 at Hokkaido, Japan.
I will show my ongoing project "equals zero" focusing on the flow of Arakawa River, along with those gay men who have riverside sex next to Arakawa. I will also exhibit the dummy book of the project.

2019年にISSP（ラトビア国際写真サマースクール）に派遣していただいたことをきっかけとして、今月末から来月半ばにかけて北海道にある写真の町・東川町で写真展をやります。
展示をするのは、奥秩父から東京湾へ流れる荒川の流れとともに、夜に荒川沿いで青姦をする男たちに焦点を当てた写真プロジェクトです。秋には販売開始予定の写真集のダミーブックも会場に展示予定です。
かくたみほさんの「GOOD TIMES」展や「ラトビア 融合の建築」展などとの同時開催となります。 ぜひご高覧くださいませ。

Book Publication -本出版情報
I have joined the book project “Contemporary Gender and Sexuality in Africa” (Langaa RPCIG, Cameroon) as one of eleven writers. I am writing about the photo project “Forget-me-not.” Content is mainly about an autobiography of myself and those gay friends I met in east African countries of Kenya and Uganda.

special website opening -特設ウェブサイト公開
Website focusing on my ongoing photo project "equals zero" is available until the end of February 2021 (extended to the end of April). Throughout the project, I am focusing on the river Arakawa, which is flowing around Tokyo metropolitan area, and those gay people who are having riverside sex in the night.
